Ken and Laura met as students attending the US Air Force Academy, married the day after graduation, and thus became “The D’Alfonso Team.”  Ken would go on to serve his county for 27 years, working various command and multiple combat tours across the globe, eventually retiring as a Colonel.  Laura would serve for six years as an officer, first in logistics and later healthcare administration before focusing on raising the couple’s three children.  As the children grew, she found her next calling educating children as an elementary school teacher.  The D'Alfonso Team traversed the country and the world together (eighteen different homes) learning various cultures and communities before they finally settled in the great state of Texas.  After spending 8 years in Pflugerville, TX, where Ken was the partner of a land development company and served the city as the President of the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation, and Laura continued to work as an elementary school teacher, the D’Alfonso Team settled in Ken’s childhood hometown of New Braunfels.

As both MBA holders and skilled professionals, they embarked on a new journey as licensed real estate professionals using their financial background to provide sound advice to their clients.
